I Can Have Both

VOTE FOR STORMY SEVENSPIRE as EU FAN CHOICE
The Ballad of Stormy Sevenspire

"Stormy Sevenspire was a Jedi archaeologist ("picker") who survived Order 66 through sheer miscommunication and went to ground when Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi sent out their order to do so from the Jedi  Temple on Coruscant. Using archaeology, instinct, and unfettered skill, he lives to find other Jedi who heeded the call to go-to-ground." —— Character bio, The Legacy Collection

As one of the few characters in the EU (hey, Lucas approved the name and back-story) with an active voice, Stormy Sevenspire is officially throwing his hat into the ring to be your Expanded Universe candidate.

Stormy Sevenspire actively supports the resurrection of the Jedi Order, and, along with his assistant, they weave among thieves to salvage important Jedi artifacts and send spy reports to the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire.

Stormy Sevenspire is the only candidate in the running who has been "manufactured", and this is the only chance that will allow others to own a piece of Jedi history! Stormy Sevenspire will even carry an ice cream maker if needed.

Voting ends soon, so remember the name
Stormy Sevenspire. This rare chance to choose a figure through Hasbro’s Star Wars Fan Choice voting is your opportunity to steer the course at Hasbro. The power is yours!

OK, so now that that’s out of the way, we have some goodies for you (and, no, this isn’t to buy votes). There have been some technical difficulties getting the high resolution PDF files of the posters/checklists for the Legacy Collection and The Clone Wars. Here’s what we do have two truly amazing images from the posters that are suitable for printing, and a cool checklist. We’re working on getting high-resolution, printable checklists that can be dispersed to spouses, partners, and anyone else who will snag new figures for you! Stay tuned.

Dude, seriously?  Careful, you’re head is swelling.  I’d tell you to stop and take a look at yourself, but you obviously already do that too much.  NOW I remember why I stopped visiting GH.
    Lame.

Tray… if you can’t take a joke, well, you know the rest.

Joking aside,  I would love to own that figure.  I’ve had the one-of-every-figure bug since ’95…and what is wrong with a little narcissism anyway?  GH remains the first site I visit every time I hit the inter-webs.

I agree with dorkyned. Have a little fun. Collectors and enthusiasts go a little too far with their fun hobby. If I was fortunate enough to have a figure made of me, I’d be posting it everywhere, ichat icons, messenger icons, you name it.And by far, galactichunter.com is the best source for our hobby’s latest news and information. Although I do enjoy the other sites, there is something special about this one. Maybe it’s not the advertisers cramming their latest specials down my throat with every other article on the main page.

I really don’t like when people have to spew venom.  I’m glad you all responded positively.  Anyway, I too would love this figure.  Quick question, a while back you commented that the head of the Hasbro comic-con exclusive was very similar to Stormy’s.  Did you get a look see of that figure?  Can I buy it to customize my own version of Stormy?

I’m like a freakin’ UFO, apparently. (Or I’m very generic looking now.) It started on FaceBook with a friend saying that the G.I. Joe Destro-Unmasked looks like me. (In reality it looks like my father when he was about 30.) There was (at least) one  sculpt that didn’t quite make it, and I would assume that nothing goes to waste in Rhode Island. Next, it was the Jedi Master from the Jedi Training set at Disney.

I have all three figures, and I’ll take a shot of them together for comparison. I’m the only collector who has the figure, but I’m pretty sure I signed my rights away. I always let The Powers That Be know that I’m ready, willing, and able if they need an odd-looking human. I’m a completist, too. Every figure. Every (significant) variant, etc. (Thank the maker that I’m a "looser", all those card variants would drive me over the edge.)

I registered just so I could reply to this specific blog. Adam dude, you’re a riot. I check your site every morning before i head to work just so I can get a chuckle in before the workplace starts irritating me. And that’s saying a lot seeing as I’m in Beirut.. yeah THE Beirut… It’s terrific about your figure. Wish I had one of me, my head would swell as big as Dark Helmet’s. I doubt Hasbro will make it a fan’s choice, but I know you’re not serious. In any case, the whole idea is simply too hillarious not to  propose as a nominee. Also, I saw the destro fig, and noticed it looked like you before you mentioned it. in fact I was going to mention it here when i realized you’d already seen it/had it.Keep up the good work Adam and please keep poking away at the lighter side of toy collecting, it’s people like you who make us feel better about our costly collecting illness and let us realize we’re not the only folks with a kid streak in our psyches. Peace out
