August 15th (or there abouts) from Jedi Defender’s Q&A:
2. Through the Q&As this year, we’ve had a few hints about the 2009 Return of the Jedi wave – new DS2 Luke, New Leia, New Ewok, New Malakili. They all sound great… but they are all resculpts (yes, most of those are badly needed resculpts, but they’re still resculpts nonetheless). How about giving us a little scoop on a NEW figure in the wave? And will we finally see a modern version of Wooof (aka Jabba’s Palace Klaatu) in this wave?** Good detective work on the wave lineup so far. We can reward you with some news – yes, there will be a Wooof in the wave.
I want one! Since we’re getting one, I guess I want to see it at this point. Here’s hoping that the ROTJ wave comes out a few weeks before the annual repaint/ repent wave and we wind up with both versions from the vintage days.
schneider, he’s Wooof according to what his character was called by the crew, much like Amanaman. I’d no idea he had been confirmed, but thanks Captain Obvious! Fine, consider this one done. This will teach me to blog after a few beers.

Me!!! But, didn’t Hasbro already confirm this figure for next year in a recent Q&A? I’ll go back and check, but I’m sure others read this too.

Isn’t this unnecessary? Hasbro already confirmed in a Q&A response 3-4 weeks ago that Wooff is coming in 2009 in their ROTJ wave.

Yeah, as mentioned in that Jedidefender post, they’ve pretty much confirmed most of the 2009 ROTJ wave through seperate Q&A responses in the last couple months. I posted a new thread about it in the forum last month here:
