The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry….
We’ve hit the ground running in NYC en route to Hasbro’s annual Toy Fair spectacular. After an eventful couple of days, which saw your faithful blogger incapacitated with gastroenteritis, and his long-term partner in the hospital for a major heart scare (and exploratory surgery) it is all coming together. (My deepest apologies to my sweetheart, but I’m a hardcore toy geek.)
[That's OK, I can hold down the fort here. And you forgot to mention a well-known airliner trashing your suitcase with rather expensive cameras in it. Still doesn't beat getting a sudden cardiac catheter while wide awake on a Friday afternoon though. -tv]
The big show starts at 2pm, and I (along with friend-of-blogger, Stephen Prescott, formerly of ILM) will be covering it all. We will upload pix as soon as possible.
Stay tuned!
[Edit: While the "broadband" access at ADAM's hotel seems to be connected by carrier pigeons or something equally slow, images are now trickling in. -tv]
