Top 10 Hasbro — Other Lines/Licensee Crossovers
1. Attakus Millennium Falcon Lo-Fi Version — The thing is made to 1:18 scale, and they made it out of crazy expensive metal, thus denying (m)any of us the chance to own it! Why not make a Lo-Fi Edition cast in plastic that will sell for a bit less, be a bit less decoed, and make us losers out here happy? (It would still not be a ‘playset’ – nudge and wink.) I’ll spring for a few hundred, but when we’re talking thousands, I’m out.
2. Gentle Giant "The Emperor Holographic Transmission" Mini-Bust — This is actually numbers two and three, and I’ve mentioned this one before. Since "The Emperor" as seen in The Empire Strikes Back is just a head’n'shoulders floating in the air via hologram, this mini-bust would be compatible with Star Wars action figures. It’s a no-brainer.
3. Gentle Giant "The Emperor Holographic Transmission" Original Trilogy Mini-Bust — This would be the same as number two up there, but featuring "The Emperor" as he appeared in the Holy Trilogy before the Special Editions. Crazy old woman with chimpanzee eyes style, babies! (Bonus points if the base of the mini-bust can accomodate a kneeling Darth Vader figure.)
4. Sideshow Collectibles 1:6 Scale Dianoga (Trash Monster) — With bendy plastic and a bit of creative license, Sideshow could make a fantastic Dianoga beast that would, let’s say, blend nicely with Star Wars action figures by Hasbro. The Mynock creature included with their recent Han Solo figure was a step in the right direction. Box it with a figure, or sell it as an extra accessory with a Mouse Droid. Whatever it takes, I’d buy it.
5. Titanium Edition Speederbike (with Biker Scout) — Personally speaking, I’d snap up a metal Imperial Speederbike in a heartbeat. Don’t make the figure metal — or if it is, make it pre-posed and removable, because I’m chucking it. Gentle Giant set the bar pretty high with their recent statue, and I’d like to see Hasbro meet that challenge.
6. Gentle Giant The Star Wars Holiday Special Bust-Ups — I adored Bust-Ups from the moment I laid eyes on them at Toy Fair back in 2002, but the romance has really faded. The chase figures, the crude exclusives, and the poor distribution have caused me to step away from this line. A series of Star Wars Holiday Special Bust-Ups, maybe themed around Life Day/Christmas/Hanukkah, well, I’d buy those. (Would anyone else? Speak up, folks!)
7. Galactic Heroes The Death Star — Inspired by the Palitoy version of the Death Star playset, this would be a great way to present a nice play environment and move some more baby faced Galactic Heroes. One of our forum members recently suggested this for the vintage Kenner Death Star mold and the Sandcrawler, and it’s a great idea. Who’s buying Galactic Heroes? Everybody! (That’s what Hasbro tells us.) Who do we need to get some cool playsets made? Everybody!
8. Master Replicas — I had some ideas here, but now that they’ve been sold, I have no idea what direction they’re heading in. However, I wouldn’t mind buying little tiny micro-sized light-up sabers powered by some of them new-fangled superstrong LED lights. I doubt that they could do them in 1:18 scale, though.
9. Code 3 — Hasbro had and nixed the idea to do poster figures, which is a shame. I’d buy two of each to have a series of them loose with my figures and displayed on my walls. (I always thought the POTF2 figures were inspired by the more muscular interpretations used on the posters.) It’s a pity, really. (Image courtesy of SithToys.com.)
10. This space left intentionally blank — I’d like to know what you readers think would be a good mix of a current licensee with our beloved Hasbro products. (I really tried to work Lego in here, but I couldn’t for the life of me.)

Since when was Master Replicas sold ? I thought that they just recently purchased Corgi. As far as the Code 3 movie poster figures I too would love to see them made. The Darth Vader Prototype is amazing.

I think, although I’m not the MR authority, that Corgi bought Master Replicas. Although I could have that one twisted around sideways. I’ll have to go re-read the press release. (See what you made me do?)

Corgi is merging with Master Replicas, and they’re retaining the name Corgi. Corgi also bought Cards Inc.

2 ideas
(I don’t care who makes them) – Dejarik Chess Pieces – Make a colored set of creatures and a holographic set (clear). A board would make a great carrying case.
Master Replicas – FX Sabers for 12" and 3-3/4" figures. Ever since the .45 scale ones came out I’ve been picturing the 3′ tall Darth Vader I would need to hold it. Cross the next logical bridge and get us fully functional action figure sized weapons.

I’d also like somebody to make a Dejarik Chess set with Holo Monsters.
Sideshow–I’d like them to tackle some of the larger scale beasties that Hasbro unfortunately won’t touch. The Aiwha Whale from AotC,Sanda Aqua Monster from TPM,a new Fambaa,Sarlacc w/ Pit of Carkoon, definitely a Krayt Dragon, maybe even the Space Slug. How about a 12" Gorax from the Ewok tv special?Dark Horse had an issue with a Gorax in it.There was a cool pic with a Gorax with a necklace made of Scout Troopers. I’d like to see them come up with an even bigger and better Rancor.I’d love to have one that could actually hold a Gamorrean Guard in his mitts. They have shown what they are capable of with the 12" scale Jabba and there will be a 12" scale Dewback at some point.
Galactic Heroes–When are we going to see more than just the two packs of figures (and re-pack Battlepacks)?I want a GH TIE Fighter,GH Jedi Starfighter,GH Wampa,GH Taun Taun,GH Jabba,GH Rancor,GH Bantha, etc…….
Dark Horse comics–From the looks of things these guys are working with Hasbro. The incoming Crimson Empire set with Kir Kanos and Carnor Jax and the Expanded Universe packs with the "Marvelized" figures.Keep it up as I want to see more of the Dark Horse created characters.Aayla Secura,Asajj Ventress,Durge,ARC Trooper,Quinlan Vos—they all came from you guys. There’s more— so let those Star Wars Collectors who don’t read or collect the comics know what they’re missing out on.I want SW LEGACY figures!!!!
Star Wars video games—I’d be more incline to pick up a game brand new if there was an exclusive figure. The Battlefront Scout Trooper was alright but the bar needs to be raised.Hasbro is missing opportunities to sell more product by not getting involved in cross promoting.
LEGO–All I can say again is……how about releasing the figures separately?I got the bug to get the figures ever since I played the first LEGO SW game on XBox.I however don’t want to invest alot of money into LEGOs.How about some LEGO Battlepacks?
Bust-Ups—I’ve slowly given up on collecting these for the same reasons noted above.I’d rather see them sold in sets like they are apparently doing now.
Star Wars Role Playing game. Will somebody please pick up where WOTC and West End left off and resurrect this beast? As much as I love the ccg/tcg game and Miniatures game–I sorely miss this game. There was so much great Expanded Universe material that came out of this source. There certainly are several figures that Hasbro can do some mining from here.
