Guest Figure Pimp and Blogger reader Eric von Gruenigen sends in another cool upgrade concept for Hasbro to easily pimp out a Lushros Dofine figure, and turn it into Tey How, the much cooler Neimoidian Pilot from The Phantom Menace.
(Yes, to the three readers who didn’t get it, we do know that these are done with Photoshop. That’s the point. This is about concepts, not customizing. The cool guys at FFURG have you all kinds of covered on that front. We’re not trying to trick you, we promise.)
Blogger’s Note: Apologies for the few days of absence here. Dental and medical appointments get in the way of having fun with toys. And thanks to Eric Von G for making this figure walk that extra block for us!

Looks like a nice and simple custom.Hasbro could easily do this and make another $7 off each of us.So what exactly was used to make the facial accessory?

Nice! I like this Pimp that Figure thing. Remember, when you first started the blog, I suggested that you list and comment on figures that Hasbro could kitbash or repaint. Well, this is it. Please bring attention to Ten Numb, Barada, Red Ugnaught, Gray Suited Y-wing pilots, Jabba’s Palace Ishi Tibb, Bespin Guards, Imp. Officers in black and more.

I like the concept, unfortunately with Lushros pegwaming like his guard did last year, I’m afraid for the future of the Neimodian race in the figure line. I’d certainly get one, but I don’t think that’s enough. This is the kind of figure that would be perfect for the basic figure "collector" line like we discussed in one of your "memo" blogs. And Simdog that’s a GREAT list for future pimping. I’ll have to go and consult my list to see what other ideas I can offer.

This would be an awesome figure. I really like the Neimoidians. I’ve collected them all so far and I would definetely get one of these if Hasbro actually made it. While they are at it they should throw in set pieces for this one like the chair and councel he sat at. That would be cool to have a play set of the bridge of the Invisible Hand that was different pieces from different figures that connected together.

Yes!! This is totally kick butt! This is the figure that I thought we weould get the first time. I would love to see this at least as part of a set like a battle pack or something.

Excellent job on the graphics, but this is a pegwarmer waiting to happen. Neimoidians don’t sell.

Funny that they don’t sell, though not sure what the stats on that would be. Though I have problems with the prequels, I like the Neimoidian design and have purchased them all. I don’t see the Neimoidian peg warming much more than I have seen Momaw Nadon, Hem Dazon, R5-D4 and most of the Hoth wave except for the snowtroopers. But maybe that’s just in my neck of the woods. Guess what I’m wondering is how much peg warming does Hasbro expect or tolerate and still produce a figure?
